Dr. Marilyn J. Buzolich is a Speech-Language Pathologist and pioneering specialist in Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology with over four decades of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1980, she founded Augmentative Communication & Technology Services (ACTS), recognized by ASHA as a model site in 1986, which merged with Ascend Rehabilitation in 2024. A co-founder of the internationally recognized Bridge School (1986), she served as its Clinical Director for seven years. Her career contributions include developing AAC service delivery models, assessment and intervention processes, and training generations of specialists. She retired as ACTS Director in July 2025.
