E. “Betsy” Kelly, M.A., CCC-SLPAAC/AT Specialist
Speech/Language Pathologist


Betsy Kelly joined A.C.T.S. in the fall of 2016 and is currently working in San Francisco Unified School District providing AAC services to students and mentoring district speech/language pathologists in Augmentative/Alternative Communication. Betsy has been providing AAC services since 2000, when she received her MA in Communication Disorders from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has extensive experience working in public schools, non-public schools, clinics, camps, and homes, and has been privileged to work with children and adults with a wide range of complex communication needs. Betsy also teaches a course in Augmentative and Alternative Communication at San Francisco State University. She is proud to work in this field because she believes that communication is a basic human right.
